US Airways Dividend Miles - Infant fare all over the place

I have a US-EU trip booked with DM miles on LH F, my son was born last week, and I went to add him to the reservation. I spoke to a great agent that spent 15 minutes with rate desk and came back with a quote of around $1,300 which sounded about right (10% of F). I decided not to ticket it right away (did not have my preferred credit card with me). When I called back 4 days later, another nice agent came back and quoted me around $500  Since I really want this trip to go smoothly I told her the difference between what I was quoted earlier and that this travel was in F class, she talked to rate desk again and came back said: "rate desk is 100% this is right, and business and first is the same on LH  I just ticketed the reservation.
Do you guys think I will be OK? I really tried to tell her the trip was in first and it should be more... What should I do?
thanks

I just called LH with the infant ticket number and they were able to confirm that the booking class were correct (F across the pond and C Euro segment). Although I have limited experience with infant booking my advice would be to call a few time before ticketing.

David, I had the same situation a while ago. I was quoted rates all over the place. And finally settled on one that seemed low enough. I know its not ideal, but that is how US Airways is - left hand rarely knows what the right hand is doing. Just grab the lowest fare and be happy! And you will be fine at the airport for sure!

I am actually feeling good about this, I "saved" about $1,000, I tried to do the "right thing" by letting them know that their quote seemed too low, and finally LH confirmed that the infant ticket was in the right class!

For future reference, there is no charge or fee to change or remove an infant from the ticket... since technically it is not a mileage ticket but a standard 10% fare.

First of all congrats to the OP for the newborn!
Being a mileage manic, I have to ask: which mileage program is the OP gonna enrol the baby in? :D I would like to know which airline FFPs have no age restriction for their membership.

Actually I have also asked this during our 3way call when CSR and rate desk was on and they said it was not refundable as this rate was based off of a non refundable fare, but for and extra $200 I could have it refundable... This is all a bit confusing but at the end I saved some $$!

The problem is that infant fare rules do not allow mileage earning, even if infant has a FF account.

of course, I was discussing which program for infant to get him started.

In addition to calling US, could OP call LH directly and have them issue a F infant ticket. I wonder how much would that be if adult tickets were already issued. Can't see why other airlines couldn't do it.
maybe they would be cheaper.

Calling LH in this case was plan B and is often advisable, but in this case $400 was a great deal and I was 90% sure LH would not do better (the F tix on LH.COM were $14,000)
