Cruises - Cruise Critics' Choice AwardsView Full Version : Cruise Critics' Choice Awards JanePond Jun 11, 11, 9:03 am What do you think? http://www.cruisecritic.com/memberreviews/cruiserschoice_index.cfm?category=Overall tcook052 Jun 11, 11, 10:15 am As a HAL fan sad to see them not mentioned anywhere I could find. CEL did well however so my other favorite was fairly well represented. Interesting to browse but it wouldn't sway my decision one way or another. Thanks for sharing. :) ak333 Jun 11, 11, 3:54 pm As much as I may like CC, I still feel "uncomfortable" about so many awards going to members of the Royal Caribbean family. Even since the Royal Champions debacle of a couple of years ago, it just seems, off to me somehow. I feel the same about any award that Carnival Corp. gets from Porthole Magazine, since Porthole's publisher worked for CCL for many years. dgreen12 Jun 11, 11, 6:46 pm As a HAL fan sad to see them not mentioned anywhere I could find. Did you look at the results by mid-sized ships? ijkh Jun 11, 11, 7:48 pm It is a lot like tripadvisor. Not many people ranking the luxury liners. I mean really putting Crystal's cuisine just one step above the Pacific Princess? You must be joking or never have traveled at any other level. tcook052 Jun 11, 11, 9:20 pm Did you look at the results by mid-sized ships? Apparently not. :o Yay HAL! Sunny 1 Jun 15, 11, 11:50 am Interesting information. Thanks for the link! Traveling Man Jun 16, 11, 9:30 pm It makes me interested in experiencing Oasis or Allure where the ship is the destination. JanePond Jun 17, 11, 5:19 am I agree. I cruise with Seabourn but am intrigued to see the ship from the inside. Since I never get off the boat in the Caribbean, it could work. But I want a concierge/butler level suite. |
