I am wondering whether someone will be for the pride in Frisco this year. I am so bummed i wasn't able to celebrate at home in Tel-Aviv yesterday, and I would really be interested in some company.
Gonna stay from Pride till the 4th of July, then probably back to Sacramento CA, Portland OR, Seattle, and Vancouver.
Let's hang out!

I'll be in New York for Pride but SF for Fourth of July. Can't commit to anything yet during the day, but could stop by if you guys organize something. Will be going out to a club Sunday night; could meet folks there.

I had a couple questions as a newbie to SF Pride (been to the city of SF many times though).
It says the parade starts at 10:30 a.m. Are they pretty punctual about starting on time? I am going to be at the Parc 55 in the area of Powell and Market so it looks like the parade will be going right past there. If it starts right at 10:30, what would be a good time to be on the street by (I have no idea how crowded it will be).
Is the area where the stages are going to have vendors, etc on Saturday (I couldn't find the info on the SF pride site).
Was also wondering how long the parade typically is and what places people will likely be hanging out at Sunday night if they do go out after. I was going to take a redeye home Sunday but my friend I am going with lives in a different city and wasn't able to find a red eye home so I am leaving Monday late morning instead.

They start pretty much on time, lasts quite awhile tho I can't comment too much since I've always gotten there late and left early (I'm local, San Jose).
Stages and vendors will be on Sunday during and after the parade till ~5p...its at Civic Center. At City Hall they usually have some sort of event with free booze as well.
On Sunday, assume Castro will still be busy and you have Lookout, Cafe, Qbar, Toad Hall, Badlands and Trigger all within walking distance. There's a tea dance, FRESH, from like 6p-12p and SANCUTARY from 12p-? if that is your thing.

Thanks for the info! I appreciate it. I see Sandra Bernhard is going to be there at 5 so I will definitely go for that.
I'll probably just walk to the castro to get some exercise in and cab it back and hang out there. The sanctuary parties aren't my thing, or at least they aren't during folsom.
