Nope...it's already begun. Too bad, all my reservations are non-cancellable so I have to forfeit this promotion. :( honu Jun 13, 11, 7:41 am Link? djjaguar64 Jun 13, 11, 9:11 am Anyone has the link? Awesom Andy Jun 13, 11, 9:29 am Sale is on 16 Jun - 22 Jun for "50% off". Although I can't actually find rates that are double the "50% off" rates... Stays in most of July and all of August (for HKG, at least). A-club members have "exclusive" early access, i.e. now. Just book it from the accor hotel website as per normal, quoting your membership number. djjaguar64 Jun 13, 11, 9:32 am Sale is on 16 Jun - 22 Jun for "50% off". I booked the BKK airport hotel executive room at a discount. This is great. RJ77 Jun 13, 11, 9:55 am You're quite right, AClub members have 48 hours headstart. Here's the link http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/promotion/specials/crazyprices.shtml It's bookable till 22 June for stays from 8 July to 4 Sep.It's Worldwide. Sofitels, as usual are not included. Pity. fumo Jun 13, 11, 10:06 am the thing with these previews is that the system is sometimes not ready for the sale yet. there is only one ibis and on rare dates, another ibis available for singapore throughout the whole period. the list of participating hotels clearly includes all the accor properties in singapore whereas for bangkok, i find 20 over hotels available for this promo. djjaguar64 Jun 13, 11, 10:12 am So sad, I am trying for HKG and it will not give me 50% off for the 8th or 9th, only for the 10th, I was told by the support team that the promotional rooms are gone for the 8th ot 9th. virtualaris Jun 13, 11, 10:36 am So sad, I am trying for HKG and it will not give me 50% off for the 8th or 9th, only for the 10th, I was told by the support team that the promotional rooms are gone for the 8th ot 9th. I think that Accor properties in HKG are hard-bargainer, I've found that they were also excluded from Advantage Plus supersale on last March. :td: 3544quebec Jun 13, 11, 11:27 am Ibis Sydney World Square for $AU44.50 some dates and Mercure Leblon Rio de Janiero for $110 are a couple of good rates. lsed Jun 13, 11, 12:36 pm Damn I've been waiting for this sale for months, and now a friend just asked me on a spontaneous trip to tokyo leaving end of the week. Mercure Ginza @ $97 would have been nice! And we are also stopping over in HK for a few days. Novotel Hong Kong Nathan Road seems like a great deal at $99 too whackyjacky Jun 13, 11, 5:45 pm Started today and goes for 9 days. Some nice prices in the Asian locations I looked at. Pretty sure you have to join A-Club 1st though (go ahead, it's free). Works worldwide I think. wj izzik Jun 13, 11, 5:50 pm Here's the link http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/promotion/specials/crazyprices.shtml other info STAY FROM 8 JULY 2011 TO 4 SEPTEMBER 2011 theworld Jun 13, 11, 7:20 pm http://www.accorhotels.com/pdf/crazyprices-participating-hotels.pdf RJ77 Jun 13, 11, 10:18 pm the thing with these previews is that the system is sometimes not ready for the sale yet. there is only one ibis and on rare dates, another ibis available for singapore throughout the whole period. the list of participating hotels clearly includes all the accor properties in singapore whereas for bangkok, i find 20 over hotels available for this promo. You made a good observation in pointing out the stark difference between these two markets. The reason Accor has its annual Super Sales is to move the room inventory during the slow months, consistently this means the months of July to Sep in the past few years (I'm assuming Accor has a lot of statistics to back this up). However, in the case of Singapore, there's no such thing as a slow month as I can attest to that as I travel at least once a month there. Hoteliers are certainly taking advantage of the situation there. Now one will need to pay more to stay at Ibis Bencoolen in Singapore than a Sofitel (Silom) in Bangkok simply because the demand is there and customers are willing to pay that price for a room in the expensive Singapore, do you think this Ibis is going to avail a lot of their room inventory for this SuperSale when they know they can sell these rooms at a higher rate with ease. For a sense of participation in this annual event as well as its contractual obligation, maybe a handful of rooms do get available (I might be wrong here but at least that's what I feel is the case). That will explain why certains hotels don't seem to offer the 50% off rooms even on the first day of Sales. starflyergold Jun 14, 11, 12:46 am The T&Cs of the sale are: When booking one of these deals, the customer agrees to have read and accepted the conditions below: - Offer valid for bookings made between June 14 and June 22, 2011 for Accor Advantage Plus and A|Club Members and between June 16 and June 22, 2011 for public, prepaid online on www.accorhotels.com, for stay(s) between July 8, 2011 and September 4, 2011 in all participating hotels according to availability (2). - The 50% discount applies to public rates without conditions for the dates requested upon booking. Payment must be made online by credit card at the time of booking. During your booking process, a public rate will be automatically proposed whether the "Crazy Prices" rate is not available on all the dates requested. - Offer cannot be changed, cancelled or exchanged after booking, and it cannot be combined with other discounts or special offers. (1) - Prices displayed per night, single or double rooms, not including breakfast. Foreign exchange rates are for information only and are not binding. Exchange rate only confirmed upon booking (if payment is made in a currency other than that used at the hotel, exchange fees may apply). - Offer valid in participating Accor hotels and subject to availability for this promotion, excluding any black-out dates set by hotels. (1) Except Accor Advantage Plus offers, which may be combined with this offer. (2) Black out dates: the promotion won't be available in the United Kingdom hotels before July 17, 2011. The promotion will no longer be available in Paris hotels as from August 22, 2011. frechen Jun 14, 11, 3:48 am Tried a certain german city, three hotels (those I selected as suitable) where not offering this rate for my whole stay (said the Accor-website). I then tried it with one booking (for a shorter period) with this up-to-50%-off-sale and followed by a standard booking for the rest of the stay. And yes, it works. This is what I always disliked with the Accor-booking site. Often not a mix-rate will show up if just one night is not available. You will then often only be offered the standard rates for your whole stay. So you will have to "try and error" the up-to-50%-off-dates. "Special feature" this time: First only two nights where available "up-to-50%off" or no night, when trying it with three nights. But when already on the individual hotel booking site, I succeeding in adjusting the dates with three more nights (offering a mix-price-rate which was not available first hand). But when the price gap got too large or no prepaid-rate was available as I added one further more night, the whole stay-rate switched to non available again. So I ended up with two bookings - one up-to-50%-off and one standard flexible (no prepaid available for that period, this might be the reason why the whole stay switched to non available as I was trying it with "one further more night"). annmix Jun 14, 11, 1:57 pm not all hotel are on sale, singapore n jakarta hotels mostly not available... this is not call sale worldwide fumo Jun 15, 11, 10:16 am not all hotel are on sale, singapore n jakarta hotels mostly not available... this is not call sale worldwide actually all singapore hotels are available now like i said, i dont think its a matter of releasing rooms. intially not a single room was available for the novotel or mercure in singapore now availability is much much better :D nacho Jun 15, 11, 12:55 pm Not a single hotel in Sweden participated :( All I got was a very nice 10 Eur off which is too little.
