GLBT Travelers - Singapore VisitView Full Version : Singapore Visit OldPilot Jun 5, 11, 4:45 pm We are planning on visiting Singapore in Nov for three nights following a 15-day visit to Vietnam, and preceded by a three-night stop in Hong Kong. Any recommendations about sites to visit or things to avoid in Singapore? Most of the hotels in Orchard Road and Marina Mandarin are pretty decent and Marina Mandarin is definitely quite decent as well. Definitely the Singapore flyer, head to Ku De Ta bar in the sands for a drinks and view that cant be beat, definitely China town and Little India as well. U can pretty much cover most of the tourist attractions in 4 days. djjaguar64 Jun 6, 11, 9:20 am I think the Carlton hotel is also ideally located and much cheaper than the Marina mandarin. alanw Jun 8, 11, 9:05 am I love the Carlton; it's my first choice in SIN. You used to be able to get club level deluxe rooms for 180SGD, which was a bargain.
