European Rail Travel - How do I book 1st class on SJ rail?

Good day,

I have been going to SJ's website to compare a few fares (Goteborg - Stockholm) and (Stockholm - Copenhagen). The website has no problem showing me 2nd class ticketing options for my dates (early August). But, for the vast majority of dates that I enter it shows NOT AVAILABLE for 1st class.

Is this true? Correct? Normal? Does this mean 1st class is sold out? I do get some 1st class prices but only on very, very, very few trains on very, very few dates.

Is there a secret handshake I have to use to get the information?

Incidentally, I checked out point-to-point fares on raileurope and I have a question about that site. The raileurope site shows a Senior Fare Class (age 60+) that does not appear on the SJ site. So, is there an actual Senior Fare, 60+, basis for SJ, or is raileurope in error?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I see lots of 1st class availability for Gothenburg-Stockholm. This was for Wednesday, August 3.

What dates are you looking at?

I can also find 1st class seats very easily - whether on X2000, IC or Regional trains.
