Diners Club Club Rewards - Which BKK Lounge?

Will be transiting through BKK several times in the next few months - including a 8 hour layover (enough time to pop into town, I believe) Any recommendations for best DC-access lounge? Any of them have showers? And reasonable liquor? :D
The 'official' websites seem somewhat unreliable - and as good as running around airports are for DVT's, I'd rather head straight there :)

There are several Louis Tavern CIP lounges listed in the Diners Club Lounge access website HOWEVER when I attempted to use the lounge with my US Diners Club card I was DENIED access as the staff stated that ONLY Diners Club cards issued in Thailand are valid for entrance.
A call to Diners Club Bangkok did NOT help.
Diners Club US Customer Services likewise are (absolutely) NO help, but then again they are generally useless in any case!

I would also be interested in the answer to this question as I have a number of flights there too this year.
I'm on Priority Pass so hopefully no issues with getting in there with that card.

I have a Diners Card from Denmark, so it is not issued in Thailand.
I have used the Louis Tavern CIP Lounge two times, after they became Diners member lounges, with no problem. Last time was in May. So the staff is terrible wrong.
BTW they even had a Diners sign at the front desk. But I have to admit that one time I tried to go into one of their lounges, I dont remember which one, I was directed to another one just around the corner.
It appears the company which operates the lounges can be contacted by email. It might be worthwhile seeking clarification of their Diners Club entrance policy: info@dayrooms-ciplounges.com

Of course they should answer your e-mails
You could also try to call them, sometimes it is much easier.

Maybe the problem is that your Diners is issued in the US, there have been talks before on FT, about problems to access some Diners lounges, with a US card.
When calling them I would in a polite way tell them about your experience and ask if the problem could be that your card is issued in the US.
This is Thailand, so if your attitude is like, "these "people"....and they want to play "osterich"", when you write or call them, they will just reject your complaints, requests or questions.
But I am sure you know all about that, living in Thailand.
BTW, the staff have allways been polite and never been "osterich" to me, whatever that means?

osteriches stick their heads in the sand thinking that their enemies cannot see them because they cannot see their enemies............. in Thailand, instead of addressing a problem, Thais just politely smile but ignore them thinking they'll just go away, thus "play osterich"

Three Lounges named Louis Tavern CIP in share with Priority Pass. Provide a maximum 2 hours stay for Diners Club members (who only just recently got access to these lounges). None of the lounges have toilets or shower. Two of the 3 are very small and cramped. Clean. The slightly better one is the First Class lounge. Food snacks OK, but very, very industrial. Staff friendly. Chairs are too soft and very low - once seated hard to raise. Difficult to orientate yourself in the airport (even after 6 visits hard to find where to go for check in counter as they each are separated for certain airlines). I have DC card from Denmark and have used all lounges several times. They check the max. stay of 2 hours and kick you out when time is up
