Southwest Rapid Rewards - promos/sign up bonus for RR?

Newbie to Southwest. Looking to see if there are any promos or sign up bonuses for Rapid Rewards. Is one way of signing up better than another? We have a flight (2 seats) needs to be booked this week for travel at the end of June. I am not talking about the credit card, though since my travel looks to be shifting away from UA I might switch my Visa to WN.

Trivial bonus of 250 points (worth $4) I saw recently.

If you're going to sign up for RR anyway, here is a link that awards 250 RR points and 60 MyCokeRewards points (if you already have an account there at MCR and are logged in, you can also nagivate to OFFERS AND PROMOTIONS > GET EXTRA POINTS > SOUTHWEST BONUS POINTS.) i just registered for RR, and googled promo bonuses.

If you are NOT currently subscribed to their email newsletters, you can get 250 points for registering, as well as another 250 for staying registered for 3 months.

Is there some current enrollment bonus for RR? Someone I know is flying WN for the first time, and it would be nice to get him some additional points.
