Florida - Maldives style resort in FL ?

Hello,

I'm wondering if there are Maldives style resorts in FL. I mean like separated rooms on the beach or bungalows. All resorts i have seen during my search are hotel style.

Any help will be appreciated.

Might try looking in the Keys. No super great beaches like the Maldives but there are some unique properties.

There is one in Key West, though it is not on the beach. Simonton Court.
