Southwest Rapid Rewards - WN flight#40 delayed due to weather from DAL

Hi All,

I just speaks with my friends Ed on his cell phone and he is already now in AUS but, his flight is delayed due to weather. So he will be on the way from AUS-SJC at 7:30pm. He got an hours late due to weather conditions. Can you anyone find out for me. What is reason why his flight is delayed. He is supposed on the way back home to SJC shortly.

There is a confirmed tornado in Dallas, TX with softball sized hail. The newstream that I'm watching out of Oklahoma City, OK is saying no flights are going in or out of DFW or Love Field.

Wow! I didn't even know that. What is heck happening in DAL/DFW due to weather. Unreal! I tought they didn't go away. Thanks for your efforts but, I did not realize know that.

Weather Channel is saying passengers being sheltered at DFW and all passengers and staff at Love Field have been evacuated to the basement. A baseball game at the Ballpark in Arlington was halted in the 4th inning and all the fans have been evacuated to the service tunnels.

Wow! Unreal! I am afraid the Texas Rangers games is delayed tonight. How much the crowded who is in the locker room and etc. Unfortunately, the flight will be suspended tonight until the further notice. It will very messy tonight.

Oh, the Rangers/White Sox games is back on again. They are on bottom fourth innings.

As others have mentioned, there were thunderstorms in the area that night accompanied by large hail ranging in size from golfball to softball. We had baseball-sized hail at Love Field, and it took out several car windows (including one of mine). NWS subsequently reported that the system that moved through had nine tornados but that they were small ones.

Wow! Very interested things. I didn't even know that. Don't you mentioned that you probably remember what happened back in October 5, 2010. It was so terrible bad weather in Phoenix-areas not include Mesa, Gilbert, Tempe. Avondale. We didn't have any damaged at my house in Desert Ridge. Luckily, there is no major damaged in my area at all. While we drove in the car from the mall to my house. It was sounds like to hear the hails is smashed down on the grounds.
