Mexico - Getting between terminals at SJD (Cabo)?

I've got a family trip next week to Cabo and I am arriving on Continental (Terminal 1) a few minutes before the rest of my family arrives on Alaska (Terminal 3). I'm wondering if it is easy to walk over from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 to meet them, or is there some other way to get between terminals? Any advice is appreciated.

It's a really small airport...the new addition is easily accessible by walking.
