Anyone going on this cruise?
A good friend I travel with on occassion and I, are both able to getaway on those dates and there are still some good state rooms available and I have always wanted to go on a RSVP cruise and this looks like a great opportunity.
I noticed RSVP has really cut back this year. I can't find a club med vacation on their site for this year.

Atlantis and RSVP are owned by the same company. Due to lackluster sales last year, and a still weak economy, the company cut back on both divisions. The more ships that sail full, the more likely additional cruises can be added.

We are going to be on this one. I don't remember RSVP having club med in recent years (this always was Atlantis as far as I can remember).
RSVP experience is somewhat different from Atlantis, but I do like it.

Sounds like a lot of FTers on here are going. Hopefully my friend can go. Sounds fun and it will be my gay cruise. I think Rosie still does her cruise, but I heard it's a lot of kids. I am pretty sure RSVP will be only adults, which I would prefer.

I prefer all adults as well. On RSVP cruises you might see some kids (as in less than 10). Usually you don't even notice them.

Kiwi cruiser from Australia joining in too (anyone else visiting Sitges before the cruise? Say hello!). I'm looking forward to the cruise, having been bitten by the bug on a month-long cruise last year (Sapphire Princess, Sydney to Los Angeles). Any previous RSVP'ers care to share some experiences?
(FYI... if you want a kid-proof cruise go for longer than two weeks. And avoid Disney! ;))

Hi guys!
For those of you coming to the cruise, Sitges Gay Pride starts the day before your departure and I'm hosting our 2nd Sitges GAYLA (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/glbt-travelers/1132361-sitges-gay-pride-gayla-ii-july-8-10th-2011-a.html) this weekend.
If you feel adveturous and want to meet us for dinner and drinks on Friday June 8th night in Sitges let me know and I'll add you to our group reservation. It's gonna be fun and you might have to board the cruise a bit hangover-ish, but it'll be worth it! If your plans are overnighting in Barcelona that day, there's a night bus every hour until 3AM so you can be back to your hotel before dawn :):):):)

I am going! I am arriving in BCN July 8 to board on July 9. After the cruise, I am heading to Sitges for 2 nights (July 16-18), then staying in BCN for 3 nights (July 18-21). I am looking to meet other FTers and also looking for hotel suggestions.

For BCN I would recomend Axel for a hotel. The Sky bar is a lot of fun and many Americans stay there. Best gay hotel I ahve been to

I will have to disagree with that one. The Axel is ok, but a bit overpriced for their product. For less than that price you can stay in a full service hotel in the gay area that will also be full of gays but that is not marketed as a gay hotel.

I am staying at the Caledonian hotel, 3 blocks from the Axel, better reviews, and half the price!

I'll be in Sitges for two nights prior to the cruise (7/8 July), count me in!
