GLBT Travelers - US based gay tour guides/trips?

Hey Fellow GLBT friends,

Wondering if anyone knows of any US based gay tour guides/companies that lead trips abroad for gay men/lesbians. I know there are tour companies based in certain countries, but am not aware of any US based ones that lead the journey.

I ask because my boyfriend and I have been playing around with the idea of someday trying this. We both are well travelled and like to go to out of the ways places. Our idea is to lead trips for a small gay group to places/countries that aren't necessarily gay hotspots or destinations, but are interesting meaningful places (eg, India, parts of Asia, etc.) interesting to explore.

Just a crazy idea but thought I would throw it out to see if anyone knows of people already doing this and/or if anything thinks there would be a market for such a service.

We've travelled with Venture Out (http://www.venture-out.com/) (in fact, our picture is on their home page). Robert does a great job, first class, small groups, highly recommended.

Aquafest does small group land tours to some foreign destinations. I was on their China trip in 2009 and had a good time. They use local guides, however, to conduct the tours. I think your idea is interesting, but I would want to know ahead of time that any US based guide would have as much or better knowledge than a local guide about the sites I'm seeing.
