Is flying in and out of IGU and staying on the Argentina side a non-issue? Will a taxi be able to take me to the Sheraton hotel in Argentina side without any huge hassles or extreme costs?

And taxi prices are very fair in Iguacu! Hayvenhurst May 11, 11, 3:51 pm Going from the airport in Brazil to the Sheraton Hotel in Argentina should not be difficult at all. Taxis routinely cross the border in both directions. Riorob May 15, 11, 1:52 pm Joe, Smart move on your part. The view of the falls is much better from Argentina (careful how you say that depending on who you are talking to. Both countries are too proud to get along with each other). There are taxis and buses that will take you to the other side. No Visa requirements that I know of at the moment. When you transfer from the airport in IGU, ask the driver for details. They are more than happy to help. If you can, ask the Sheraton to give you a view of "La Garganta" which is the main fall. It's the best sound to sleep to at night. Not much else to do there except be impressed by the fury and beauty of mother nature all at the same time. Take the boat trip and go under the falls or the helicopter over them (both if it fits your budget). Boa Viagem!
