GLBT Travelers - SF pride questions

Going to SF pride this year for the first time (go to SF once or twice a year but never for pride).
Was wondering if much happened later on Sunday after the parade. I know sunday after folsom is over the castro is crowded. Wasn't sure if that was the case after pride or if it was pretty quiet after? Reason I am asking is that we can take a redeye home at 11 PM and I could just shower at the SC and go right to the office and be just an hour or so late if nothing was happening after 8 p.m. Sunday, or if there is a lot going on that night we can just fly home Monday instead.

Sunday is usually a long (and very fun) day for me, and I don't know anyone that goes out afterward. I'm sure some people do.

I've only been to Pride in SF once so can't really comment.
But I don't think that the SFO SC has a shower - it's a very small SC before security.

Sounds like I might be better off just doing the redeye home Sunday night then and I will be tired enough I will just sleep on the flight. The SFO SC doesn't have a shower, but I will be flying into detroit and landing around 6:30 a.m., and they do have showers at the main skyclub as well as oatmeal, so I was thinking I could just shower and grab something to eat at the SC in DTW and then head to work if I am not too tired and I would be wasting a day in the air on Monday.

It's strictly a matter of your energy levels and whether you can sustain yourself for three nights out in a row.
Sunday evening will be quieter than either Friday or Saturday but there are still activities. Check the SF Pride website for a list of official events.
The Castro will still be hopping, particularly with those folks who couldn't get enough after the Pink Saturday festivities.
And SoMa will be busy in the late afternoon/early evening as people trickle down from the Civic Center. The only unknown this year is whether having the Eagle closed will cause fewer people to make the trek.
Regardless, enjoy your weekend.

It is going to be very interesting in Sept to see where people flock to after Folsom since the Eagle is closed. My friend and I went this year or last, towards the end of Folsom and the line was almost a block long to get in, so we ended up going to the castro on a VERY PACKED muni.
Regardless of what I end up deciding on doing, I am sure I will have fun. SF is always a fun city.

I expect Lonestar to be packed, and not just with bears.
