Middle East - Amman hotel recommendation

Hi folks,

Looking like I may be spending a few days in Amman later this year, and was hoping someone here might have some recommendations.

I'd prefer somewhere reasonably central and was considering the Grand Hyatt, but from reading it seems it may be a little outside. As it will be my first time in the city, I don't have great geographical knowledge so I'm open to any/all suggestions!

The Grand Hyatt and the InterContinetal are in the 3rd circle area which is the center of Amman. The Sheraton and Four Seasons are in the 5th circle area which is a central area.

Marriott is fairly central too. Though right in the middle of the troubled area last time I was there.

I would stick with Grand Hyatt and/or Intercontinental. Getting around Amman is not that expensive and taxis are plentiful.
