Los Angeles - Check-in time for SNA

Family has flights out of SNA on a Tuesday in June at 1230 pm and 4 pm. Not checking any luggage and we'll have our boarding passes in hand. How much time should we budget for checking in through security?

Also, any advice on parking for 5 days? Appreciate any help.

I've flown out of SNA approximately 30 times/year for the last 8-9 years and Tuesday @12:30 PM should be pretty easy---probably in 30 minutes or less. Personally, I'd get there about an hour early but that's just me. It's a pretty nice, relaxed airport so if you clear the checkpoint early, grab a coffee or snack and relax and enjoy the break.

At 4:00 PM it will probably be busier than your earlier flight but still, on a Tuesday, it should be pretty quick. Possibly even around the same time factor. I'd follow the same plan as above.

I'd look at the long-term lot for parking. It's fairly close to the terminals but, since I live only about 10 minutes from the airport, I always take a cab. Maybe someone that's used it recently can comment more accurately.

With regards to parking, the best deals are the lots at nearby hotels (ie: Hilton & Marriott) via airport parking booking sites (I have been using cheapairportparking.org, but there are many others out there). Much cheaper than even the long-term lot at SNA. The hotels run shuttles to SNA (about 5 min ride from Marriott) about every 30 mins. I am not sure if "parking only" is available directly through the hotels. Hope this helps.
