Wyndham Rewards - Wyndham Family of Hotels in the DC area

Hi, I am new to the Wyndham program and need to book a couple or rewards nights in Washington DC - any recs on the best property in this family that is close to all the touristy attractions? I was looking at the Days Inn Connecticut Ave, but checking to see if those most familiar with the program had any better suggestions. Thanks!

I have no experience with Wyndham Hotels in DC, but I do live a few blocks from the Days Inn on Connecticut Ave. It's a pretty nice and very safe neighborhood in upper NW DC. It's about 2-3 blocks from the Van Ness stop on the subway system (Metro) and Van Ness is about a 10-minute subway ride from most major attractions, including the White House, National Mall, Capitol Hill and Gallery Place areas.

I looked at Wyndman's website and the other DC locations are on NY Ave, which I would not recommend. (That part of NY Ave is not a good neighborhood, it's just on a major commuter road in/out of town.)

Another option for you might be the Wyndham, Old Town, Alexandria. Not in DC proper, but close to the Metro, which makes getting around easier. Hope this helps!
