Hello,
would someone please remind me which website offers realtime monitoring of available award seats? I believe it was about $99 per year.
Much thanks!

That's debatable, check both websites to see if the program you need to track is available. EF doesn't require any installation and you can set alerts since it connects directly to the airline computer systems, so that is what I prefer. KVS is a tool you install on your own computer and it basically accesses the public airline websites on your behalf.

To answer auke20's question, ExpertFlyer is the only service of the two that will provide monitoring and alerting of award/upgrade inventory or physical seats. We call those services Flight Alerts and Seat Alerts and details can be found on our website.

And FWIW, KVS is a PC only program - not available for MAC.
And I think if you follow FT, you will find that no one is more responsive and caring than the EF people. Yes, there are downsides in that not all programs are covered - for me the big missing ones are Continental, British Airways and Lufthansa. But for the airlines it does cover, nothing is better or faster.
For convenience and because I don't have a PC (Thank God! ;) ), I subscribe to EF and I purchased some points at AwardNexus. Don't really accumulate a lot of OneWorld airline points so I'm basically covered.
