Florida - Sunny pool area

I am looking for lodging advice for a midpriced chain property that has a large sunny pool area.

We will only be attending a single event near Disney and will have a car,so proximity to Disney is not necessary. We will also have no children with us,so kid friendly is not a concern this time either.

We would also prefer not to be in an area where traffic is a major concern to reach restaurants and shopping.

Obviously Orlando has many choices to consider. You do not say how long you will be staying or when you are looking to stay (which may help others help you). Here are a few thoughts:

Two that come to mind for mid-priced rooms with a nice pool is the CP Universal and The Hyatt - Grand Cypress. Only downside to your needs may be the family atmosphere and locations with lots of traffic.
I have heard good things about the newish Waldorf. I have not yet stayed there and prices are around $200+.

You may also want to take a look at the Holiday Inn Orange Lake Resort. They have good reviews and an "interesting" promo right now. You can find the discussion here:
