India-based Airlines - Best Option from Del to BLR

I am flying into Delhi on CX 751 on May 27th. I need to fly onto Bangalore. I have two options. One on Kingfisher leaving at 23:15 and connects in Mumbai, getting into Bangalore at 8:20am or another Kingfisher flight leaving at 6:45am and arriving at 9:20am.

So the question is whether to spend a few hours in Mumbai airport or should I get a hotel in Delhi. I am flying in first class on Cathay, but I do not know if this will let me into any of the Lounges in Delhi on arrival.

Any suggestions or thoughts would be helpful.

Delhi t 3,where all the international ops from Delhi are, now has a transit hotel also open in it's premises. The last connection for bangalore directly flies out at 2045 but it would be 'very'tight. If you take the morning flight you can tuck in some hours of rest, if you take the via Bom option you will have to spend the night at an airport regardless, and Mumbai airport is not too great to spend such a long while at!

Depending on if you are flying biz or if you have a status on kingfisher etc, you may be extended lounge access!

No status on Kingfisher, but will be flying in business class. So it sounds like I should just stay overnight in Delhi.

Guess they use the plaza premier lounge there which is open at all hours. FYI, Delhi has good seating arrangements for transit pax also, like sleeping benches etc where you could stretch out and catch some hours of sleep!

if you have to spend the night at the airport then you should definitely do so in delhi....
