Technical Support and Feedback - Post not showing up on "new posts" board

Relative newbie here...posted to the American AAdvantage board today, my post showed up there but not on the "new posts" board. Do I have to do something else to have it appear there?

Your own posts don't show as New Posts (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/search.php?do=getnew) when you search for new posts because they are not new for you, only for others.
