India - DEL JAI-DEL-and further

I am flying from JAI-DEL on Kingfisher, arriving 19:20 on 5th of June
then DEL-HEL on Finnair departing 10:20 on 6th of June
All on one PNR.
I called IT today and they told me Kingfisher has a agreement to check bags all the way in to finnair. They said "Bags will be handed to finnair"
I have 14 hours between the flight, and I dont want to leave the airport. I prefer to be able to go the gate area in T3 and sleep there on the comfortable seats/bed ( I have seen them before), and also eat in the couple of places.
Is this posiblle?

if you can manage to get your boarding passes for both flights in jaipur then its possible....otherwise your bags will get transferred but you won't be able to enter the departure area till about 3-4 hours before your flight....

Just an idea. According to the Finnair web:

Terminal 3, check-in area K, check-in desks K08–K14.
Nearest terminal entrance: 6.
Check-in opens 3 hours before departure.
CHECK-IN CLOSES 1 hour before departure.
Internet check-in can be made at the earliest 30 hours before departure and at the latest 1.5 hour before departure.

Using the internet check-in would give you a boarding pass. Maybe it is better not to do the internet check-in before you hand your baggage at check-in in Jaipur. Please, don't be dissappointed if this does not work. I'm really no expert on Kingfisher - Finnair interlining.

it won't work....even if you have printed your boarding pass, you still have to get it stamped when you enter the airport....they will not allow you inside till about 3-4 hours before your flight....

you dont think the guards will be sympathetic to a 15 year old boy travelling alone, who know hindi, who would otherwise have to sleep outside?

btw technically what if I had a itinerary (not paid for) for another flight departing at say 10pm? they dont check if its real. so I could enter departures and just wait there?

it's definitely not legal & personally i wouldn't do it but to each their own....

2- IT checks my luggage all the way, and I am stuck outside T3 all night?

IF I get a boarding pass in JAI for JAI-DEL and then atleast DEL-HEL how do I transfer? Looking at the intereactive map, I dont see how you can go from domestic to international without getting out of domestic. How would immigration be done?

What would you suggest for me? I definitely dont want to leave the airport in this period.

you don't have to leave the airport to change terminals....

yea. but woudnt I have to get out of the domestic side? even if i had a boarding pass, would they let me in the international?

if you have got over 4 hours till your flight then they will probably not let you in....

hmm.. What about actually not getting out of domestic arrivals? ie stay there till 6 am in the morning.

you can do that but there is not much to do at domestic arrivals....

sleep on the carpet? lol.. better then sleeping on the floor of the airport metro station (which I did once)

Once I arrive in DEL I see that THERE IS TRANSIT AREA!!!! WHEN YOU COME DOWN FROM THE DOMESTIC GATE, AS LONG AS YOU HAVE A BOARDING PASS YOU CAN GO THROUGH IMMIGRATION without exiting the terminal. 4 hours or 24 even. They dont mind..

Hi, my parents (elderly) are travelling with similar itinerary (BLR-DEL on IT in the evning and then on AY to HEL next morning). They are thinking of booking Eaton transit hotel. Will they be able to get into international wing of the hotel with these flights?
