Choice Privileges - When will Choice to Southwest transfer post?

I had read that the transfers go through on tuesday. Yesterday tuesday came and went but I didn't get any points. I had requested the transfer on Friday. Any idea what is up?

Straight from the horse's mouth at the Choice Rewards website: "Please allow 6-8 weeks for Airline Rewards to post to your airline account."

If you transfer early enough in the week, I think the transfer will post MON/Tues. I did a transfer on a Thur and it didn't post until the following MON/Tues, so for me it took about 10 days.

Transfers between partners, even in 2011, are often not electronic. They often involve putting data on a disc/tape/whatever, and actually physically mailing/delivering it. Thus the day the data gets gathered at, say, a hotel, could be several days before it shows up at, say, an airline.

(I know nothing specifically about how Choice transfers to Southwest, but the combination of information in the posts above suggests there's a multi-day delay from when Choice gathers the information to transfer once a week, and when Southwest actually posts it. And that fits it with this understanding I have of how transfers between partners in general often works.)

My transfer from 4/21 posted last night (4/28). My transfer from 4/22 has not yet posted. Seems like the old Mon/Tue schedule is no more.

Both of my choice transfers posted exactly 7.5 days after I made the transfer. Transfered friday afternoon and the posted saturday morning 8 days later. tuesday evening transfer posted wed. morning of following week.

I am in the process of transferring my Daily Getaway windfall of CP points to Rapid Rewards. Are there any data points for how long it takes once you initiate the transfer with CP?

Updated data point from one year later....

Requested transfer from Choice last Thursday and the points posted in my RR account today (Friday). So, looks like 8 days to transfer.
