Finnair Plus - Upgradability of AY Y tickets?

I'm going to use some of my vouchers and/or points to get an upgrade HEL>JFK, buying a Y ticket. I'm really far ahead in time, going there mid October, so I guess availability should be good, and I'm AY Plat also. Question though: they have all this different booking classes; Economy Special, Economy Saver, Economy, Economy Flex and Economy Fully Flex - can I upgrade all these classes? Or are the cheapest ones, Economy Saver and Economy Special not upgradable at all? If someone have any experience of this, I'd be very glad to have some info. Thanks.

I have been able to upgrade from the most heavily discounted fares with vouchers, so there should not be any problems :-)

Do the Anyseat awards count as regular fares (of the bucket they would be if paid by cash only) that can be upgraded?

Some years ago AY had an offer "2 Y awards for the points of 1" - I was able to upgrade that booking with vouchers so I'd say you can upgrade any (publicly available) confirmed coach ticket issued from AY stock on AY metal. I'd only exclude non-revs and such..

Just a quick update: I just purchased the Y tickets to JFK at lowest possible booking class, sent the upgrade request to AY+ and within 15 minutes it was done.

What kind of voucher are we talking about here? Monetary vouchers or specific upgrade vouchers? Is there a way to buy those vouchers?

You cannot buy the AY vouchers, they are earned as you qualify/re-qualify for AY Plus status, either Gold or Platinum.
