I am trying to book a trip to croatia during peak season, and I have to start nailing down my accomodations. I'm traveling with my bf- we're staying in Split for 2 nights, Hvar for one night, and Dubrovnik for 2 nights.
I always hear stories about gay people getting turned away from b&bs, or in a less extreme case, not being able to book the king bedrooms for 2 men, and I'd like to avoid any awkwardness, as we don't speak the language.
Any advice about neighborhoods and specific locations would be really appreciated. We don't have any specific itinerary, but proximity to the beaches or the old city architectures would be a plus. Wi-fi would also be a plus :D.
