Can anyone give me suggestions for where to park at EWR for one week (in July, if that makes any difference)? Preferably somplace fairly easy to get to from the turnpike since I'll be coming from Philly. Is long-term at the airport easier/cheaper than off-site parking?

www.longtermparking.com then click New Jersey then click E-Z-Way make sure to make a res and print the coupon its $8 a day plus tx and plus a 1 time $4 EWR fee beats anything else by far and they drop off and pick-up from the departure level so no need dragging your bags from the bottom level arrival areas

w/o the coupon its $13 a day so dont forget it

I kind of like the park-n-fly deal from the SpringHill and Fairfield hotels across from the airport. Your car is safe in those lots. It's only a good deal though if you are either flying out early morning or coming in late night and can use the one night stay it requires.

Thanks for tips. The hotels don't work since our flight leaves at 5:50 p.m. and our return flight arrives back at EWR at 4:50 p.m., so we'll be able to get to and from Philly at a reasonable hour.

personally, i don't trust my car for a week at EWR airport parking and a few times i was the only soul walking around this huge garage at odd hours and i just didn't feel comfortable.

i have been using Avistar/Haynes (off-site) for quite some time - they just recently changed the name to "The Parking Spot" - it's very convenient and when you get your bags at baggage claim, call them with your ticket number so they know you need a pick-up and when you get back to their facility, they will have your car ready and waiting for you. if you go to their website, they also have coupons....
