Other Hotel Programs - Shangri-La Booking with Points?

Any airline programs allow you to book nights at Shangri-La ? I see AMEX MR has a "pay with points" but expect the value will be poor.

Other ideas on how to book Shang rooms with points, discount codes or otherwise reduced rates ??

Interested in BKK Shangri-La in particular.

If you are a Shangri-La Golden Circle Member you can use GC points to book free nights.

In the meantime, I mostly just book from their website. The usually offer "advance purchase" rates, which are quite attractive if you are certain your plans will not change.

The BKK SL should be nice, it has recently been renovated, is conveniently located and has a great view over the river. If you have the time, I recommend going up the river on one of the 'river buses'. The public pier is right next to the Shang. Enjoy...
