I flew HAN-BKK today in C, and was given a TG Fast Track pass with the immigration form by the FA prior to landing .
It is different from the CIP Fast Track passes use dby other airlines , and it is to be used at the TG Fast Track immigration counters opposite gate D 4.
Well done TG .

I've never had a problem accessing Fast Track using the C BP.

It would be better to have a Fast Track card to save for those times when it's really needed.

Oh, this is new? I flew the day before, and I thought this was the usual.

It's been going on for about a month or so now. They also make an announcement on board about using they and specifically say they should be used oppsite D4 only and not at other Fast Track areas.

They are giving them out in F as well (got one again this morning after arriving from CDG) so I asked whether this was in advance of stopping the buggy service for F pax and it wasvehmently denied by ground staff. We didn't need a bugy anyway this morning as we arrived at D4.

You don't actually need to show them to the immigration staff if you get escorted by TG staff so I have managed to 'save' a few of them already.

I've been using the CIP fast track for a few years & they've always been practically deserted. I used the D4 one this week & the fast track queues were about 4 deep. Why doesn't TG use CIP rather than D4 for these new C fast track passes?

Please forgive me for asking but each time in C class I have gotten a CIQ blue sticker that I' am told to wear on my shirt by a TG rep. Is this fast track and what is actually CIQ?

No - that has nothing to do with class. that means you are international connecting to domestic. I believe it is to identify you for customs/immigration purposes since you will be separated on arrival after the domestic flight from those who flew domestic only.

Domestic to International connection. You've the correct sequence in your last sentence.

I believe CIQ stands for...

CIQ = Customs, Immigration and Quarantine

A gentle reminder may suffice. I've just flown 4 sectors in the last week and noticed on my inbound flight from Shanghai that they just forgot (I guess because it's new?). I asked a steward about 15 minutes before landing who then asked a stewardess who'd earlier distributed arrival cards. She then hurriedly distributed them to everyone in the cabin

Fair enough .

We hadn't even pushed back from the gate at PNH when the FA came by and gave us all an immigration form and a Fast Track. I'll post a picture of the new Fast Track look later.
