US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Singapore "E+" Vs. US F
Since some of us in the US Forum don't frequent other forums, I thought I'd paste a thread which was in the UA forum.

In reading through the description of this poster's experience in Executive Economy on the new Singapore nonstop from LAX-SIN, I was having fits of nostalgia over how F used to be on US.
Those Singapore Airbus A340-500s (dubbed the A345 LeaderShip) are the sweetest ride in the sky for everyone on board. To be able to make such a long trip, they had to reduce weight. So, there are only 166 total seats(compared to 300+ in a typical 3 class configuration). Seating is 116 coach - with VERY generous space and services and 42 Raffles class(SpaceBeds). The LAX-SIN run just began recently, and JFK-SIN nonstop will commence in June. This might be one of the coolest redemption opportunities once US is in the Star Alliance.

It actually seats 181 total. 64 in Raffles and 117 in Executive Economy. The New York non-stop will actually be EWR-SIN, while the JFK-SIN one-stop in FRA will continue. It will definitely be a cool ride.

This is true if you are democratic and take everyone's comfort in consideration. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
Personally, I'd rather sit in a FC seat myself! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
I've flown the SQ SpaceBed and it is a nice seat. However, with the surrounding privacy bubbles that encapsulate your seat, the one next to you and the seats in front of you, the feeling of spaciousness is lost. There is a lot of room/comfort but it does not feel as spacious as US's main Envoy cabin on the A-330. Howver, the seat itself is VERY comfortable and the service is in another league altogether... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/thumbsup.gif
And just to keep semi-on-topic, I am looking forward to redemtion of US miles for Asia travel in the near future. Probably business class however... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
