Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus - BKK Lounge Question

Hi..

Is anyone had this experience. So I've ticket from SIN to LAX with Thai Economy class. I will upgrade from Economy Class to Business Class only for SIN-BKK sector. But I don't want to lounge access in Singapore, can I take the lounge access in Bangkok?

Short answer: No !

My last visit to Business Class Lounge for Thai at Bangkok Airport was massively disappointing.

If only we could get vouchers for lounge usage and choose where to use them. NOT. :D

The TG lounge hasn't been overhyped. Care to elaborate on why you're massively disappointed from a lounge that has only been given a tepid recommendation?

I think the TG lounges are of a pretty good standard compared to many around the world. Look at what SQ offer * Golds in economy at terminal 2 in SIN. IT's pretty damn awful... and the showers have mould, cracked tiles and are in a general state of disarray. There is NO shower option in T3, the flagship SQ terminal for *G's in Y class. Things look up when you are in biz of course.

Last time i was in the TG concourse c lounge they had satay sticks, which was nice... is that normal because i don't remember seeing them before this last visit about a month or 2 back.

TG has upped their food offerings in the last 6 months. But it's still not really a meal. Lot's of snacks, and they're brought back the salad and now offer sala pao as well as other things. In mid March I didn't notice the satay, but I've seen in previously. It might depend upon the time of day.
