US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Lufthansa award availability

I'm looking to fly DTW-FRA using my dividend miles this fall. What is the deal with US and LH? LH flies direct to FRA from DTW so I would rather just book the award ticket on one of their flights than having to connect, but I can't find anything about their relationship. Am I going to have to wait for/if the start alliance deal to take effect?

Nevermind actually - I've been reading some stuff and it looks like flying on the US 333 would be better anyway, as I'll probaby be stuck in coach class. My parents live in PIT still so I'll just take a morning flight and go out to lunch with them or something before the PIT-FRA flight. Thanks anyway
