US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - LAX club/counter closures?

I'll admit from the start that my interest in this rumor is due to the potential benefit for HP.

A prediction was made in the following thread. LAX and SFO cutbacks? (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum51/HTML/006062.html)

"The club at LAX will most definately close when operations are moved to T6 sometime in January"

Obviously, this hasn't happened yet. Is there still a possibility of US consolidating with UA on the west coast?

According to a US employee I spoke to about a month ago, the movement of US to T-6 & the closure of the US club at LAX is on "indefinite hold" because they can't agree on the terms of a lease. I'm not sure where this person got their information, so take it with a grain of salt.
