Is it just me or are the Chicago fares not really a deal?

No they are quite high. $179, add a bag and we are talking close to $400 return. $109 fares seem to only be on Tue/Wed.

I guess if you are really wanting to go on the cheap you could fly Spirit who have fares for $51-80 all inclusive, with a pretty ugly schedule.

I don't find the Chicago fares to be a great deal.
