US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Requalifying

I need some advise about qualifying. I am GP right now and know for a fact that I will not requalify for GP. In fact, at this point, unless I take connecting flights for every short hop I take, I won't even make SP. My question is, if I do not qualify for any status this year, will US only drop me one level to SP anyway, or will I be US Nothing after 2/05??????

I'd rather not have to take the connecting flights from DCA to BOS!
