I just flew into Franfurt this morning from PHL. I haven't seen this mentioned before, so I thought I'd post a mini-review. We had a great A330 flight, upgraded to row 1! It did take about 2 hours into the flight and two reboots to get the IFE working, but I didn't care. We took the arrivals lounge cards "just in case." We were planning a longish drive to BRU, so decided to check it out. We'd read here that the LH arrivals lounges were so-so, so we trudged down to the Sheraton.
The bad news is that the Sheraton doesn't have a lounge any more. The good news is that they provide a room for as long as you reasonably want (we said we needed 2 hours and they said to take longer if we liked, no hurry) and a voucher for breakfast in the restaurant. Not only that my shiny new *wood gold got us a suite for the 2 hours.
It was a fantastic alternative to the traditional arrivals lounge. I'd have to say it was our best such experience, even better than the otherwise excellent facilities in London. I'd encourage anyone flying Envoy to FRA to consider it.
