It took about 12 hours but US matches the fares SW anounced today, but not until May.
One thing that really has been lost in the
Fare war hoopla is that UA and HP are both
a part of the PHL transon equation. So far
no matching from UA and HP, nor US codeshare
to Southwest destinations like OAK, SNA and
the like.
I have waited to book any travel and would
like to pledge my CP allegience back to US
and wish them well. It might be a good will gesture to cut fares ahead of May, though.
My only other concern is, am I booking on a can't-get-there-from-here airline in May?
