Just got this offer via email. I have never flown Virgin although I am an Elevate member.

Is this deal worth doing?

A good way to rack up elevate points if you fly VX quite often. 16% rate not great yet not that bad either.

I'm confused about why this credit card is not more popular, in general...

It's roughly 2.15% back on everything, as long as you redeem Monday-Thursday or Saturday?

For someone who isn't into churning and isn't into premium international travel, that seems like a very good deal.

What am I missing?
