Travel with Pets - Do any airlines allow pets in cabin FROM Hawaii??

Hi my name's Maike - 1st time post - I'm moving to mainland and want to take my kitties in cabin with me, but one segment of my flight is with Air Alaska that won't allow them on plane. (The rest is Delta who have no problem but want over $1600 to change my itinerary.) I've been calling different reservation agents but they're not much help. Even their web sites contradict themselves. Need Help Please!!!

Is your itinerary already booked? Why did you book it before confirming that you could take your pets?
