Most of us in the Islands don't need another reason not to fly go!, but this is informative. Visitors beware! This outfit has an awful reputation.

It's no wonder why when you travel interisland it seems most of go's clientele are tourists. Locals know better but unfortunately tourists don't know about go's reputation until they arrive in the islands. It's a shame go is still around.

Love the commentary on the Advertiser's website...

Every time I'm transiting on HA and look for my gate upon arrival air-side at HNL, go! flights always show up as Delayed, and that was true more than three weeks ago. There's more to go!'s delays than aircraft shortages.

Well, the only problem is that, if go! goes away, then HA will raise their fares even higher than today.

Take out go! and bring in a worthy competitor.

From what I've observed, Go! pilots fly those planes hard and put them away wet. They aren't paid very well, so theres not as much of an incentive to take care of the equipment. Hawaiian's pilots take good care of the aircraft. For example, Hawaiian typically uses the full length of the runway to land and slow to taxi speed to save wear on the brakes. Go! will break heavily to get off at an intersection for a shorter taxi to the gate.

That being said, I have no problems with any of the Go! pilots, they may be fairly low time, but they are all very professional. I just wish they worked for a company that treated them better and hope they can all upgrade to a better airline someday.
