US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - 250 bonus miles with Dividend Miles Shopping purchase

Haven't seen this posted anywhere. Thru 12/31, Dividend Miles Shopping is offering 250 bonus miles with the first purchase thru any of the DM Shopping retailers. See US Air site for details.

Any idea when this became effective? I made a puchase via milesbar at amazon.com last week. That probably won't count. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

Also when it says "first" do we think that means one bonus during this time period if you use DMS for several purchases?

first time you use DMS EVER as long as it is before 12-31-03?

Clearly, the offer is available for existing members so I think it means you will receive the 250 miles on your first purchase by 12/31, regardless if you have used Dividend Miles Shopping before.

I made some purchases last week also and this offer wasn't there. May have gone into effect 12/1.

"Chefs" is offering free shipping with no minimum purchase. Limited time offer, no indication when it will end. The seasoned salt at $2.99 would appear to be worth it just for the 256 DM it will garner (250 bonus, 3 for DM Shopping, 3 from charging to DM Visa). And who knows, it might be edible.

I admit that I am a bit more of a privacy zealot than most folks, but I would suggest that you think twice about installing the bonus bar. According to the Privacy Policy on the US web site, "Dividend Miles Bonus.Bar collects and transmits to Advantex’s servers the URLs of the Web pages visited on Members’ browsers. The terms used in search queries are also recorded."

You may be willing to provide so much marketing information to their database, but you should be aware what is being collected. It does say that you can review the data they have collected about you and delete it if you wish, which is better than most similar software.

Turns out it meant neither. My son made 3 purchases during the promo and now three x 250 miles have posted to his account.

Well, he did have 750 bonus miles. Looks like "the programmer" caught his mistake and the extra bonus miles were sucked out of his account last night:
