IS US' service seasonal (summer only)? tia, HW MileKing Jan 14, 04, 1:52 pm Yes. Service to Ireland does not start til the first week of May and ends sometime in October (or maybe even September). The Lurker Jan 14, 04, 11:09 pm Last year the service ended the last week of October, I belive October 25 to be exact. ------------------ No thanks, I'm just lurking. Call me the Lurker! silverpie Jan 15, 04, 12:08 pm Suggested approach: look at fares into somewhere like London, Manchester, or Paris, plus a second ticket from there into Dublin (I did that a couple of years back). Probably Aer Lingus will be the best bet w/r/t the second flight. Not sure if the Lufthansa codeshare going into Frankfurt helps any, but that is a bit out of the way. SS255 Jan 15, 04, 3:27 pm Just be careful not to book a flight out of LHR, since US flies into LGW. Connecting in MAN may be a bit easier. A320 EOW Jan 15, 04, 3:52 pm Yes, you can connect at MAN and use bmi (British Midland), our future *A partner. |
