US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Paging the US Programmer: One-Month Statement Gap

Last weekend was the cutover for US's monthly account updates. Unfortunately, the job didn't quite get completed: there's a one-month gap between "Current" (since the cutover) and "December 2003" (the statement period that ended in early 12/03). Totals appear to be fine; you just can't see activity detail from early 12/03 to last weekend, even though "Current" detail is viewable.

For the record, US isn't the only carrier to screw up EOY issues in its online account interface. Until the last few days, UA's system -- which normally lets you search for posted activity to date -- wouldn't allow a 2004 date in defining the period of activity to be displayed.

It always happens that the previous month's statement is hidden while they process the rollover. However, this usually only seems to take a day. This time it has been missing since Sunday. I think they usually post the statements on the 11th, so I'd guess they are having some kind of glitch.

Correct. Moreover, during the cutover (which always occurs on a weekend) you can't see any "current" activity postdating the just-closed period. That's why I noted originally that I can now view activity from this week; it's a sign that things are not as they were in the past.

The January statements posted some time in the last 5 or 6 hours.
