US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-2005 America West merger) - CLT - CDG
Routed through PHL in May. There are two daily flights from PHL to CDG; one is a 767 and the other a 330. Is there any reason at all why I would even think about the 767?
On the outbound, the 767 gets in at 7:40 a.m. and the 330 gets in at 9:40 a.m..
On the return, the 330 leaves at 1:40 p.m. and the 767 leaves at 11:40 a.m. Both would get me back to Charlotte at the same time so that's not a factor.

I wouldn't consider the 767, but that's my preference.

I hate those personal entertainment systems on the 330.

Agreed, so much control and all...trip may be canceled anyway. Can't find an upgradable fare for the period I wanted. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

I'd love to see some long term manifest history for the 2x daily flights to CDG and LGW. I would guess there would be some 'learning' on behalf of SP/GP/CP crowd about equipment preferences and everyone else is just booking cheapest convenient itinerary.
Is it that hard to imagine that there would be lots of self-selection on 330 vs 767, etc?
I know, its crazy to think US has actually done this.
Only other rational explanation for choosing the other flight would be because there would be upgrades left.
