Avis - Retrieve contract number from past rentals

Hi all,

I would like to retro-credit some Avis rentals to Flying Blue because they did not post correctly. Howevern, I lost the contracts' numbers simply because I did not kept the papers. Avis asks for these numbers on their online form.

All I got are the reservation numbers (format : 1234-5678-XX-9) and the dates of rentals, i.e. what is stored on my mobile Checkmytrip app.

Is there any way to retrieve the contracts' numbers based on that information?

You could go under the Avis website under Customer Service and then click request past rental agreement. You would then have to put in country of rental, last name, and your reservation (confirmation) number and it should pull up the reservation. If you are Avis Preferred or First, you should be able to go under "My Account" page to pull up your past rentals. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot. That is exactly what I was looking for.

Unfortunately, it seems I got an error message for each of my rentals. I suspect the cause is that they were booked via a TA.

I will further enquiry.
