Choice Privileges - Not eligible for points?

I had a one night stay march 18 at platte city (MCI airport). Points didn't post. Email to customer service says that "research" showed the rate was not eligible and to check for which rates are eligible before booking.
Booking was at choiceprivliges.com with my GP number showing on the reservation. Park and Fly rate. I tried another test booking at the same hotel and could not find anywhere that the rates are listed as either eligible or not eligible.
How do I know if I am booking an eligible rate?

if you're logged onto choicehotels.com with your account, when you making your booking it says the following:
"Rate Program:Internet User's Rate - This rate IS eligible for Choice Privileges® points."
OR
Best Available Rate - This rate is eligible for Choice Privileges® points
etc etc..

Do you still have your confirmation for the reservation? In addition to the website telling at the time or your reservation if the stay is eligible for points or not, your confirmation will too. The only bookings I've had show no points earned are for reward stays, so not sure what rate(s) might not qualify.
CP is very anxious to find a way to say no to customer requests so you must know the terms and you must insist they properly honor their rules. As I tell people, Choice is my last choice when looking for rooms now. $20 more and I can usually find a Hilton or Marriott, guess where I will be. :)

I have tried two sample bookings for April 1 near MCI and none of the rate quotes include any mention of points eligibility.

I pulled up the Comfort Inn near MCI and before logging into my accout it did not say anything about points. However, going back and logging into my account and doing a new search it says:
Rate Program:Best Available Rate - This rate is eligible for Choice Privileges® points.
Again, do you have your email confirmation? That should say something presumming you logged in before completing the reservation. Also, look at your folio and see if they had your number.

You have to be logged in (because obviously if you aren't, it doesn't know you're a member, and so won't tell you anything about eligibility).
On a printed reservation confirmation, it shows under Rate Program, which is just below Number of Rooms. It'll say something like:
Rate Program: Significant Organization Savings Rate - There must be a member in the room to receive discount - This rate is elibigle for Choice Privileges points.
This will only appear if two lines or so above Number of Rooms is the line showing your Choice Priveleges Number.
If your Choice Priveleges Number isn't showing, then you don't have your Earning Preferences set to CP points, or you aren't logged in. And if your CP number isn't showing, you won't earn CP points on any rate!

Of the three reservations I currently have, all of them are at 'Best Available Rate'. All three of them were originally booked on the web when logged in. The original e-mails indicate that all three are eligible for points.
I had to change one of the reservations (added an extra night). The email confirmation for the revised reservation (which I revised while logged in, as far as I could tell) no longer has either my CP number or the 'eliglble for points' notation.
Sigh.

You may want to amend the reservation online to include your CP number or call the 1-800 cs number and ask them to add your CP number.

Park and Fly's seem to be ineligible for points - I've had three, lost the battle the first time, forgot about that battle the second time, and just didn't care the third.
I'll see if I can't dig up an ancient email from a long time ago regarding this....
Try again--send another request. Sometimes, asking a different person will garner different responses.

Good advice, and I'll verify when I check in also.
Although, they're already working on these reservations in an attempt to correct them so that they will show up under My Stays, which they claim don't show up because they don't reference my CP number.
