Hawaii-based Airlines - HA HNL Check-In Lobby Overhaul

They are also moving fast on this...completion in June. At first I thought yuck, but after staring at the picture and watching the news, I could go for this. Lobby 2 is a zoo at times with everyone checking in for the transpac flights. Glad that they will consolidate the USDA Agriculture inspection with security screening instead of the current 2 separate screenings, although I still believe that all Hawaii airports should do this regardless of airline. Also, this overhaul is modeled after that done by Air New Zealand.

KHON2 was showing where your luggage go after you drop it off in the terminal. Video is available on the KHON website. It shows the Interisland terminal.

Had the chance to pass through the HNL check-in lobby a few times this week. There are two islands being built currently.

Yup--passed there on Wednesday and still much of the same on construction. Interior areas of the lobby have blocked off areas where they're building the islands.

Didn't use it but saw people checking in at the island last week. Was mid morning and some of the stations were open.
