My dad flew on US in August. Is it too late for me to try to get the miles deposited into his account? (I just opened him a DM account).

US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - time limit for claiming miles?View Full Version : time limit for claiming miles? ayb1 Dec 6, 03, 3:51 am My dad flew on US in August. Is it too late for me to try to get the miles deposited into his account? (I just opened him a DM account). --Alex Alysia Dec 6, 03, 8:23 am Yep, I think so. I think you are supposed to open up a DM account before you fly. But you could try. tcollins33 Dec 7, 03, 10:19 pm I tried to do this back in 1996 when I was flying a lot for work and before I was "hip" to all of this FF stuff. I got an emphatic "no" when I asked if I could do some retroactive credits. And that was only going back 6 weeks from when I opened the account (it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 18 segments). lt1GM Dec 8, 03, 9:03 am If you go to the us airways website's claim missing mileage section, you'll find you can claim miles for flights up to 12 months back. CLTFlyer Dec 8, 03, 12:44 pm But I imagine that assumes you had a DM account when you took the flights. fmc Dec 9, 03, 10:39 am you can receive milea retroactive up to 11 months |
