Hi guys,

Quick question, I have a flight on tuesday, with a layover in PHL, was wondering if there was any delays or cancellation in PHL due to the weather? and in those case what can happen? would let's say my flight is cancelled, would US pay for the accomodations?

thanks

PHL looks to be pretty much back to normal - the city itself certainly is. It's forecast in the 40's here on Tuesday, so probably there won't be a problem....

If you're looking for delay info, check out http://www.fly.faa.gov before you take off for the airport. It's got a green-yellow-red (and blue when an airport's closed) system to show you any problems with major airports. You can also click on PHL for the details of any delays.

As far as getting stuck, US won't pay for a hotel if it's weather related. I think the only time they pick up a hotel is if the delay is equipment-related or some other factor directly within the control of US.

Have a good trip!

I am having a hard time remembering the number of times I have transited through PHL that both the flight in and the flight out were on time. Drawing a blank......

My last on-time run through PHL was probably pre-9/11. It's been a long time...

Just arrived in PHL last night. Minimal snow, dry runways, everything on boards seemed to be running as usual. Weather to be warmed with rain during the week. You should have no weather-related problems.
