I'm thinking of flying to Iguazu Falls from Buenos Aires with GOL airlines. Most of the flights have a transfer in Sao Paulo or Rio - will this mean I have to pay reciprocity as a Canadian upon landing in EZE?

But If you want arrive at EZE and then transfer to a G3 flight to Brazil, you do not need to enter Argentina and pay the reciprocity fee. However if you fly G3 from AEP to Brazil you need to enter Argentina and change airports.

[NB there are two airports at Iguazu - one on the Argentine side and one the Brazilian]

Sorry, I worded my question incorrectly. I will be flying from Iguazu to Buenos Aires as I wrote in the title. Now that I think about it, however, I realize that GOL flies from Foz de Iguazu on the Brazil side, so it would make sense that it would count as international.

In that case, you would have to pay the reciprocity fee on arrival in Buenos Aires (either at EZE or AEP). You could avoid the fee by crossing the land border into Argentina at Iguazu and then flying from the Argentine airport (IGR) down to Bs As. Being a domestic flight, you wouldn't have to pass through immigration on arrival in Bs As and would avoid the fee
